Harry's Spring Run-Off 2010 - Toronto
Harry's Spring Run-Off in Toronto was a massive success, raising $365 000 to fight prostate cancer. Participants, Volunteers and onlookers enjoyed gorgeous weather, with temperatures soaring into the 20's!
This year's event not only raised a considerable sum of money, but was attended by several high profile individuals who are doing their part to raise awareness. Jack Layton, leader of the NDP, who is currently battling prostate cancer completed the km walk along with his wife - Olivia Chow, and Mark Dailey, anchor and voice of CityTV, a prostate cancer survivor was the M.C. for the awards.
Other notable participants were mayoral candidate George Smitherman, and Dragon's Den's Robert Herjavec.
Aside from prizes for fastest times, prizes were also given out for the Best Dressed Runner (pictured), and honouable mention went to Team Bananas (Defined Presence). To see more pictures from this fantastic day, visit our Facebook page.
