Shooting Harry Magazine for Fall 2010 at Calgary's Le Germain Hotel

Wednesday, June 9, 2010

This week we are at the fabulous new Le Germain Hotel in Calgary, shooting part of the fall Harry Magazine with Chris Nicholls, photographer extraordinaire, direct from Toronto. Alex La Monaca, Axel Hermann, and Matt Loewen are the models on set. Alex is a native Calgarian and chatterbox. Matt is originally a Vancouverite and is more subdued.

The Hotel was designed by Lemay Michaud, one of the largest architectural firms in Quebec known for quality projects and interior design. Calgary hospitality abounds. Petroleum conference in town and city is awash with 60,000 in the industry. Yesterday we had a light lunch of burgers, goat/beet salad and phenomenal asparagus soup - made especially for our vegetarian groomer, Laura Szucs, at Char cut, Le Germain's 'roast house'.

Stand by for more notes from the shoot and a few shots of the guys too...
